The question is asked in Isaiah 49:15, "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne"? Absolutely not. This man-child birth of my womb will remain forever planted in my heart, mind and spirit. My desire is to tell my son's story, his journey through this disease called cancer and in a way that serves his memory well and with the dignity he is owed in the hope that complicated things explained in layman's terms will be a blessing to others through sharing Chad's journey with the constant reminder that God is always with us. I wager that there isn't a household today not impacted by cancer and/or drug use. George Washington University and the University of Maryland educated and degreed her in Business, Technology and Management.
